After 3 years of preparation,Delvigent is proud to announce the opening of their new feed additives plant in China. The first phase of the state-of-the-art factory has a capacity of 60.000 ton per year for the production of feed additives with short- and medium-chain fatty acids and essential oils as main components,with the possibility to expand to 120.000 ton of feed additives per year in the future. To ensure the highest quality of products,Delvigent invested RMB 100 million in the production facility and used only the highest quality equipment and an intelligent production management system. To achieve the lowest possible discharge of pollution,Delvigent designed and built the plant according to the strictest safety and environmental regulations. Marcel Sengers,who has a rich (production) management experience in multinational companies,has been appointed as General Manager of the company.

歷經(jīng)三年多的籌備、設(shè)計(jì)和建設(shè)，多衛(wèi)捷中國(guó)飼料添加劑項(xiàng)目正式竣工。項(xiàng)目一期產(chǎn)能為6萬(wàn)噸/年，未來(lái)可提升到12萬(wàn)噸/年。主要生產(chǎn)以短鏈脂肪酸、中鏈脂肪酸、植物精油等為基礎(chǔ)的飼料添加劑系列產(chǎn)品。項(xiàng)目總投資為1億元人民幣。采用世界頂級(jí)的生產(chǎn)設(shè)備和高度自動(dòng)化生產(chǎn)管理系統(tǒng)，按照最嚴(yán)格的安全和環(huán)保標(biāo)準(zhǔn)開展生產(chǎn)。多衛(wèi)捷聘請(qǐng)具有跨國(guó)公司生產(chǎn)管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)的Marcel Sengers擔(dān)任總經(jīng)理。

The enterprise is founded by a group of international investors which all have more than 20 years of experience in animal health and feed additive solutions. “We found each other in our shared view on the need for better antimicrobial replacement solutions to have a sustainable future for agriculture”,says Buis Ebbinge,one of the co-founders of the company.

The start of the company fits in the global trend of reduction of antibiotics in animal nutrition. Delvigent strongly believes that antibiotic replacement solutions which include products based on organic acids are the most reliable alternative when reducing antibiotics. The company has a rich experience on the successful application of such solutions,which Dr. Sam de Snoeck,another co-founder,describes as follows:“Over the last 30 years we have successfully implemented new concepts for antimicrobial replacement which are now common practice in modern animal husbandry all over the world”. Buis Ebbinge adds:“Although external factors are different from country to country,we have seen the same kind of issues everywhere”.

To realize the goals of the company,research and development is the base for Delvigent to keep improving their solutions. This is best told by Dr. Harrison Xie (R&D Director) who received his PhD as chemical engineer from the University of Idaho(US).
