Granja Pocha S.A. is a Uruguayan private company dedicated to the production and commercialization of dairy products.

The company was founded in 1980 by its current president and sole director, near the city of Juan Lacaze, in Colonia province.

Granja Pocha S.A. is one of the main dairy suppliers in Uruguay.  All the main retail companies are among its clients, as well as important industries that choose our products as ingredients due to high product consistency and quality.

Granja Pocha S.A. owns a 9.000m2 logistics center, located in Montevideo, capital city of Uruguay.  Montevideo is Uruguay’s largest city and main port for international trade.

The company has an industrial plant of over 8.000m2, built in a 105 hectares property.  It is located in Road 54, km. 5, Colonia province, within the country’s main dairy production region, and only 140 km away from Montevideo, the capital city and main port in Uruguay.

In 2016 the company started an ambitious investment plan aimed to increase its industrial capacity and productivity.

In 2018, a new fully automated production line for mozzarella cheese and gouda cheese was inaugurated, capable of producing 7,500 tons of cheese per year.  Its capacity is planned to increase to 15,000 tons of cheese per year, in a second phase.
